Straight outta Cape Town! Die Antwoord gives us the answer on how to make an original and provocative music video.


The Zef-rave-rap group Die Antwoord delivers another crazy music video that makes you wonder if what you’re witnessing is real. Die Antwoord is the collaboration between rappers Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er and Dj Hi-tek. They made it big in 2009 when their video for Enter The Ninja became popular (and probably raised a few eyebrows), delivering millions of hits to the official Die Antwoord website.


The lead vocalist (born Watkin Tudor Jones) is known for adopting different stage personas, describes his character Ninja as “how can I say, like Superman is to Clark Kent. The only difference is, I don’t take off this fokken Superman suit”. Die Antwoord could be described in two words, vulgar confidence, but in the most positive and lovable way possible.
