High-res version

The director with the circus manager name, Don Coscarelli, just released a trailer for his latest film, an adaptation of Jason Pargin’s novel John Dies At The End, which is described as a story about

“…a drug that promises an out-of-body experience with each hit”
whose “users drift across dimensions.” When “a silent otherworldly invasion is underway and mankind needs a hero” they get “John and David, a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can these two stop the oncoming horror in time to save humanity? No. No, they can’t.”

I’m getting both a Naked Lunch (good) and a Southland Tales vibe (bad), but definitely more Cronenberg, so watch the trailer and enjoy the trip:
