High-res version

Other than watching a Buster Keaton now and then I don’t watch silent films if I’m not planning on writing a thesis (which I’m not). Still, there’s something  fascinating about the silent era, as director Michel Hazanivicius demonstrates with The Artist. Look at those sets, listen to that music, and watch Jean Dujardin smile thirty seconds into the trailer (it probably singlehandedly won him the award for Best Actor at this year’s Cannes Film Festival). I’m really looking forward to seeing this soon, until then I’ll rewatch the amazing trailer and hope boy gets girl:
